Leslie and Scott Seigel recall working out of a small storage space in Hawaiian Gardens before their business of organizing closets began to gain traction more than three decades ago.
“F&M was there for us when times were really tough,” Scott said. “The Bank believed in what we were doing, and that made all the difference for a couple of young entrepreneurs.”
The husband and wife team eventually grew California Closets into what is today a $16 million business, and F&M continues to understand the Seigel’s needs. The Bank calls California Closets every week to ensure the company is aware of account activity.
“Never in my life have I seen a bank pay so much attention and give so much care to their customers,” Leslie said. “It means a lot to us to know that we can pick up the phone and immediately talk to a manager.”
