"Whole-person wellness teaches us that personal wellness can only be achieved when you attend to one’s intellectual, social, spiritual, emotional, vocational and physical well-being."
Mind. Body. Soul. Jan Montague believes that to achieve true wellness is to have balance across all three. And as a champion of “whole-person wellness,” she is playing a critical role in helping seniors in San Clemente, and across the nation, thrive.
Jan is President of Whole-Person-Wellness International, an organization she founded in 2013 that provides vital consulting and advisory services geared toward helping our elders lead healthier, more productive lives. She is also President of the Board of Directors of San Clemente Village, a nonprofit organization that provides non-medical services, social activities and educational programs to help older San Clemente residents thrive and live well in their homes.
These critical roles are the culmination of a more than 40-year journey that has placed Jan at the forefront of wellness for seniors. Throughout her inspiring career, Jan has owned and operated a chain of wellness-based fitness centers, founded a consulting firm that that helped more than 200 organizations implement whole-person wellness cultures, all while speaking, writing and teaching on the topic of healthy aging.
Whole-person wellness teaches us that personal wellness can only be achieved when you attend to one’s intellectual, social, spiritual, emotional, vocational and physical well-being. It’s a transformative concept that Jan is using every day to enrich the lives of many.
