Donald Glasgow Kingdom Builders

"It was in this time that he went on a home-building project in Mexico and fell in love with the people."

Donald Glasgow had a lot on his plate. In addition to being a successful business owner, he was an active member of the San Clemente community, serving on various nonprofit boards and volunteering with the city. He needed something to focus on; something fulfilling and challenging that would still meet his need to keep perpetually busy. It was in this time that he went on a home-building project in Mexico and fell in love with the people. Renewed and re-energized, he started Hearts Helping Hearts, an organization that collected medical equipment, clothing, shoes, toys, and countless other supplies to help the poor in Mexico.

His next act would be even bigger. Donald co-founded and served as director of Kingdom Builders Ministry, an organization dedicated to building relationships and changing lives in poor communities in Tijuana, Mexicali, and Rosarito. In addition to planting and building new churches, Kingdom Builders provides a range of services and supplies to residents in these communities for education, health, and recreation.

Still an active philanthropist throughout San Clemente, Donald Glasgow’s community impact spans boarders, unites communities, and constructs hope from the ground up.

Farmers & Merchants Bank has been proudly doing business with Donald Glasgow for 3 years.
